For DMC we had to take 1,000 photos and then from these pick our 5 best, and eventually our favorite. I choose this photo because of the vibrant colors and the unusual scene. I also think that the positioning of the subjects is unique, as they appear to be framing the photo. At first I was unsure about the subjects’ heads being cut off, but I feel it adds to the excitement and feel of adrenaline that the photo gives off.
These Elon students were preparing to jump into the lake in the middle of January for the last annual Polar Bear Plunge.
